[Seto is getting a visitor.

It doesn't matter where he is - clinic, home, with a friend. Mia is going to find him and check up on him if it's the last thing she does. It's that kind of dogged stubbornness that gets her places.

Hopefully he's awake, wherever he may be.]

[Luckily for Mia, Seto is awake and is at home. Firo had gone out to get some groceries so he could use the company right about now... especially since he can't exactly get around the apartment without someone leading him]

[Oh, good! She knows just where to go, then, and will knock before opening the door. It's always better to be polite.]

Are you home, Seto? [He should be home. He probably still needs to rest.]

[Looking behind him on the couch]

Mia?? [Alright let's see if he can do this. He stands up and tries to maneuver his way to the door but ends up bumping into the wall. The door is unlocked so... ]

Your door is open. I'll just come in.

[It's not like they did anything different to all of the houses in Weyard, right? When she sees him up, she'll hurry over and take his arm]

[ Soon after seeing the Malnosso's post- and Seto's bold reply- a very angry someone throws the door to Seto's room open. Firo marches over and grabs for Seto's shoulders, nearly shaking in rage. ]

What the hell do you think you're doin'?

[Seto's quite proud of himself for volunteering like that. He's pretty excited... the thought of going to see another living world. It's like a dream come true. But those thoughts are interrupted when he hears the door slam against the wall and feels someone grab his shoulders.

It's... definitely startling. His eyes huge, holding his breath, clinging to PF in his arms with white knuckles. It takes him a minute to get just a simple word out]

F-Firo?

[ So maybe charging in wasn't such a good idea, Firo only realizes that once he sees the expression on Seto's face. It makes him falter for a moment, but he doesn't let go of Seto, and hardly lowers his voice when he speaks again. ]

Why would you do that? You could-you could get hurt out there!

[ He can't protect Seto if he's in another world! ]

[Oh, is Firo talking about volunteering for the experiment? He can understand why he would be upset over something like that but still... he needs to do this. So he tries to look more stern but he still looks pretty scared]

I'll be okay! I want to go...

[ Firo blinks and relaxes his hold slightly. Does Seto really think the message was truthful? He has to be smarter than that. ]

"Okay"? How do you know that?

[ He shakes his head and gives an exasperated sigh. ]

You can't just trust these guys, Seto!

[Normally Nagisa doesn't pay much attention to the entries made by the Malnosso, seeing as how she doesn't understand them have of the time. This time is a little different though. The proposed experiment was rather interesting and... possibly beneficial, too. The first person who came to mind while seeing it was Seto. Nagisa remembers hearing about his world from a while ago, and she's sure that he doesn't want to go back there. Of course, she can't be 100% certain that that's the case, but regardless, it's worth checking, as well as possibly offering.

So immediately after seeing it, she decides to head on over to community building 3. Fortunately her new house is just right next to there, so it doesn't take her long at all. Finding her way to Seto's apartment, she knocks on his door.]

Ah--coming!

[It's after Firo had a little talk with him so he's a little shaky as he makes his way over to the door. Not to mention actually finding the knob proves to be a bit of a challenge. But he manages to grab it and twist, opening the door]

Hello?

[Take your time, Seto! Nagisa doesn't mind. When he opens the door though, she waves.]

Um... Hello, Seto!

[He instantly perks up and smiles, but it's still weak. Stepping aside] Come in.

[...Ahh something seems a little wrong... Nagisa walks in though with his invitation.]

U-um... I'm sorry for coming suddenly... is this a good time..?

[Here's a rare sight in House 48. Kazuma was actually somewhere not in his room for once. He had settled in the living room, reading a book as he waited for his food to finish cooking in the kitchen.

For the last few weeks, things have been more of less hectic for Kazuma. Now he finally has some time to relax...gather his thoughts.]

[Being blind has really sharpened Seto's sense of smell, because as Kazuma's food cooks in the kitchen, Seto emerges from his own room to see who's out and about. And of course to ask if he should help prepare whatever's being made.

But once he makes it out to the living room, PF in hand, he spots a green blob close by. It has to be Kazuma... or Firo since he wears green all the time. But normally the green isn't just on top like that! So he approaches and places a hand on Kazuma's head]

Oh, so it is you. [He smiles] Hey Kazuma.

This is Kazuma?

Ah--w-what? [Wow, he had been so focused on his book and that he totally didn't realize Seto was there until he felt a pat on his head.]

Seto? [Why was he--...oh. With everything that's been going on, he had forgotten about Seto's death penalty.] Hello... [He reaches up to hold his wrist and then looks at Seto, puzzled.]

Where is that other voice coming from?

[He opens his mouth to ask if he had scared him but he stops as Kazuma asks his own question. That's right! Kazuma hasn't met PF yet has he? He's been pretty distant lately... but at least he's finally out again so they can meet.

With his free arm, he does his best to hold up the robot more so he can see]

PF! She's my friend from my world.

Seto... I need to speak with you.

[ It's not that long past dawn when this more-likely-than-not-unexpected message is sent filtered straight to Seto's journal, from a woman who's been not all that involved with things recently. She's been in an odd state, ever since she was briefly sent home but then returned with much more knowledge than she'd had before- flip-flopping between seeking out people to talk and doing almost everything she can to avoid interacting with anyone else.

It's kind of hard to say which mood she's in now. Her voice is as dispassionate as the words are vague. ]

[The sudden message is definitely unexpected, yes, but it's more than welcome to Seto. It's been a while since he last heard from her, though the last time they spoke he realized some things between them were broken. But he has hope!! Because it's not every day Lightning pulls him aside to talk to him.

So he responds almost instantly, because excitement and what is sleeping, with a cheery voice]

What is it, Lightning?

I know it's early, but do you think you could meet me somewhere?

[ Earlier than she usually rolls out of bed herself, but--

Needless to say, things haven't been the same since Zack left, and Lightning's hardly been in any sort of good mood. She isn't used to living alone in Luceti, and even though she still has Baldr... nursing a very lonely heart is just the way it's been the last few days. Surprisingly, being surrounded by a village-full of people still manages to remind her of Valhalla... and there's only so much company a dog - even a talking dog - can provide.

She needs something else to do, and so... ]

Of course! Where would you like to meet? [Despite it being so early in the morning, he sounds rather energetic and excited. Then again, he hasn't exactly gone to sleep yet. One brief cat nap earlier but no more than that during the night.

Missing the chance to stargaze isn't something he's willing to do if it's a nice night out.

Even if he was sleepy he'd still manage to sound excited because it's not everyday anymore that Lightning is willing to pull him aside and spend time with him.]

[Firo's no stranger to nightmares. Before eating Szilard, reality had provided enough terrors to jolt him awake a few times. After, memories that weren't his made them a little harder to cope with, but not too much. It was never unbearable.

But now it's getting there. The usual fare's replaced by images and feelings Firo's not sure he even understands. He's never drowned before, but since draft he's felt it vividly at night. Even more disturbing are the dreams where he's slowly rotting as some invisible eye creeps all over him.

Tonight, it's just to much to take. Late, after everyone else is in bed, Firo's pacing the house, trying to find some sort of distraction. He tries to be quiet, but may not to the best job. His mind's elsewhere right now.]

Action | After the 1/20 Malnosso post

[Firo spoke to Crow before coming inside, so he knows that the two kids have seen the Malnosso's post already. Though he's still hopeful that there'll be a way for them to spend their future together, he walks down the hall to Seto's room with a heavy heart.

This hurts him more than enough--he can't imagine what Seto's feeling right now. He hardly has anything to go back home to.

Firo hesitates, then forces himself to knock on the door. They need to do this eventually.]

Seto? You in there?

[He does his best to put on a brave face, to not show the doubt and anxiety that are bouncing around inside him right now.]
