Luceti - Appointment Post!

Ah, um...

[...This is more difficult to propose than she thought. Probably because she's nervous about it herself, but... It's for Seto! So she takes a deep breath and sighs.]

I-I... I wanted to ask you about the announcement the Malnosso made earlier...

[The smile from his face slowly begins to fade. Her voice doesn't sound all too happy and when Firo just discussed this subject with him... well it didn't go so well. So with a shaky voice-]

O-Oh... w-what did you want to ask?

[His faded smile and tone of voice worry her, so it takes her a moment to respond again.]

Ah, well... You... you wanted to go, didn't you...?

Y-Yeah, I really do...

[Firo still doesn't want him to go though. Or at least he's still wary about the idea of letting him go]

[Alright then. Here we go...]

W-well... You need a partner, don't you...?

Y-Yeah, I haven't found one yet...

[Wait. Perking up a little] You want to be my partner?

[Nagisa nods, albeit a little slowly and warily. She's nervous, but... It's for Seto. If he really wants this, then she couldn't possibly keep him from doing it, and she couldn't possibly not help him.]

M-mhhm... I-if you don't have one yet, then you could come to Hikarizaka with me...

[It's pretty quick but Seto pulls Nagisa into his arms to hug her tightly and yet still gently so he doesn't hurt her. He wants to cry right now he's so happy but instead he just smiles]

I'd love to go with you... Really...

[At first, Nagisa's startled by the sudden hug; so she jumps a bit. After a moment though, she smiles and eventually hugs Seto back -- not as tightly as he's hugging her, but still.]

I-I'm glad... I didn't want to leave you without a partner, so...

[All he does is bury his face into her shoulder, pulling her closer. He's not ready to let go yet]

Y-You're the best partner I could ask for... Thank you.

[That's alright; she doesn't mind. If anything, she may even be leaning her head on his right now.]

Mm, t-thank you as well for accepting the offer.. [Because clearly that needs thanks too, right? Or something. She's honestly incredibly weary and nervous about the idea, but if it's for such a close friend of hers, she can manage.]

[To that, Seto just nods. There's no way he could've turned down the offer, especially since it was Nagisa of all people asking...

After a minute or two, he finally releases her and takes a small step back so he doesn't hover in her bubble space too much. Just going to wipe away the tears that managed to escape]

S-So um... W-Would you like to come inside and have a snack?

[Her face is still a little bit red from the sudden hug, even after Seto pulls away. Getting used to hugging people -- especially Seto -- or not, it's still a bit of a new thing for her. She smiles though, and gives him a small nod.]

I-if it's okay and isn't any trouble, I would like that. [She feels bad coming in for something like that but... it'd be rude to turn down his offer, wouldn't it?]

It's no trouble at all! I'd really like your company.

[He reaches out to find her hand, takes it gently in his and starts to find his way over to the living room. Well more like feel his way there, with his free hand touching the walls and just anything close by]

Thank you very much, Seto!

[Yaaay chilling with Seto. She follows him a bit silently though, as she watches him feel his way around. It's upsetting, really, to know that he can't see much, if at all. But she tries to stay cheerful, nonetheless, and even helps him out when it turns out that he's going the wrong way or is about to bump into something.]

Anytime, Nagisa.

[Oh, you're so nice Nagisa. He probably would've bumped into the couch and wall or tripped over himself. So he gives her a bright smile and as they get around the couch he sits down and tries to lead her over] There should be some strawberries on the table if you want some.

[A nice big bowl of them too]

[Once he's sitting down first, Nagisa will go ahead and plop down right beside him. Taking the bowl of strawberries, she smiles brightly and holds them out to Seto. It's probably easier for him to take some if they're next to him and not on a table he can't see, right? She takes a couple to try herself as well.]

Mm, they taste really good. Do you want some too?

[Oh, it looks like she moved the strawberries closer to him! He smiles and takes one out of the bowl]

Mm! [In his mouth it goes] I'm glad you like them! Firo got them at the store for me yesterday.
