Fifth Firefly - [voice]
[I hurt...I tire...and I collapse.
When I'm staring into the darkness...I find myself somehow entranced by it.
Suddenly I hear laughter. Fearless, mean...and yet kind....it calls to me.
The days we spent together are long gone, drifting away like clouds in the breeze. Even though memories are often fleeting.
All I need to do is close my eyes and your face appears...clear, and forever young.

The journal lies next to him, open and only recording the sniffles that come from Seto every now and then. He mumbles quietly before shutting it]
....Crow is gone.... [click]

[It's obvious that's the only thing he's capable of saying right now. Why is Crow always taken away from him? Why does this world want to take away what he loves? Just, why?]
no subject
...I'm so sorry, Seto.
[The sounds of movement filter over the journal - Giles getting up, trying not to wince.]

I hate this...I hate it...
no subject
...I'm sure he didn't want to leave.
no subject
I wanted to fly with him...I wanted to read with him...and now I--can't...
no subject
So he's the last person who's going to deny Seto the right to be upset.]
We don't leave of our own volition, Seto. The ones who are sent home don't even get any warning that it's happening - one second we're here and the next we aren't.
It might not have been a promise that he could have kept. That doesn't mean he didn't want to.

[He's just tired of this happening to him. It's like even this world doesn't want him to be with his best friend] Why did they have to take him...
no subject
Or, um...w-would you rather be alone?
no subject
P-Please come over...I can't stand being alone...[And he can't bring himself to look up at his room]
no subject
I'll be over in just a while. Where do you live?
no subject
no subject
...just, um, don't be alarmed. I still don't look my best.
no subject
[ ... ] What do you mean...?
no subject
[Also that he's still pretty lividly bruised up.] I'm all right now.
no subject
[He doesn't need you coming to see him if you're still hurt]
no subject
It's just bruising.

[Hic]

If Seto doesn't answer, Giles will try the door and see if it's locked. If it's not, he'll step inside.]
[Action]
So luckily the door is unlocked and Giles may see Seto pressed against the back wall, huddling and shaking]
Re: [Action]
Seto?
[Action]
H-Hi Giles...
Re: [Action]
...is there anything you need? At the very least, you probably need to drink something.
[Action]
[For now at least. He hiccups] T-Thank you...
Re: [Action]
[And, although he is a little wary about doing so, Giles will give Seto a tight hug.]
[Action]
Why do the world's love to torture him and take away his friends? He just doesn't get it.]
