Fifteenth Firefly - [voice]
[ It’s been over two weeks since the New Year started, since Seto has considered himself yet another year older. That makes him seventeen this year, two years older than what he arrived here as.
Seto has never celebrated his birthday in his whole life. He’s celebrated his friend’s birthdays here, but not his nor even the old man’s back home. For as long as he can remember, his grandfather would just mark him a year older every year at some point. It isn’t likely that the old man actually knew when his real birthday was since he had only been with him since he was five. He was just an old man he lived with, an old man he rarely spoke to even until the very end.
But in his world, there had never been a point to celebrate a birthday or a way to, because they have nothing, not like they do here in Luceti. Not to mention, whoever is born into his world would have nothing to know of the date they were born. Survivors too because even if they remembered their birthdays, they would've no doubt lost track of time and dates.
There was never any to tell what month is coming up or which is ending. The only way to tell what time of the year it must be was when seasons would begin to change, watching the leaves, grass and temperature all change. It's how things were for him and his grandfather at least. He can't speak for the survivors whom he doesn't even know are alive, only assume if there are even any.
...It makes him wonder briefly to himself if the silver haired girl and Crow know theirs at all.
He's not one to complain, and really he won't, not about this. But... it would still be nice to have just one day that he can celebrate his birth, to be grateful for still being alive for another year when all others have died and to be grateful to his parents for giving birth to him. ]
What do you do when you don’t have a birthday? Like you can’t remember when it is. [The question comes after a moment after he opens up his journal.] Is there any way to just... make up a birthday?

What do you do when you don’t have a birthday? Like you can’t remember when it is. [The question comes after a moment after he opens up his journal.] Is there any way to just... make up a birthday?
action;
...Heh, thanks Seto.
[Hey that sounded a lot closer than coming from the journal--oh he's sitting in your window now by the way.]
action;
...Just how long has he been there?
Better yet how did he get there?
It takes a moment but he waves off that concern and smiles again and even chuckles a bit] You don't have to thank me. We're friends, and this is what friends do for each other, right?
action;
So, do you know what day you want for your birthday?
action;
Do you have a day you want for your birthday, Crow? People have been saying it's best to pick a day that's important to you.
action;
...Well the only days I can think of is when I met you, but I don't know when that was exactly. [This could mean either at home, or even when he was reunited with you again here.]
action;
I'm having the same problem. [ ... ] After these people help me pick a day, how about we make yours a few days after mine? Since I didn't meet you too long after I met the silver haired girl.
action;
[Like a day or two later, not several days because he's pretty sure that would be too long and not close enough to it being near his friend's birthday too.]
action;
I promise, it won't be too far after. I met you only a few days after I met her... I think. [To be honest it's tough to say since he was in an underground mall for the longest time. No way to tell how much time passed down there.]
action;
['Cause we sure don't recall seeing any silver-haired girl near us before we met you.]
action;
[The one hiding the star was you wasn't it]
action;
[Never stuck around too long, or possibly avoided some places though--otherwise he would have heard PF's voice down there at some point. As for the star, who knows Seto.]
action;
Really? Did you ever hear PF? [How long was she even there before Seto got to her, he wonders]
action;
[That's very possible that he made about as far as that door but had to leave until he could figure out how to open it, but it's not like he would know that there was someone on the other side...]
action;
[It makes him wonder though when she was left there and by who. Was there someone else near by that he never saw??]
action;
action;
Then a woman's voice speaks up:] Seto... do not think about that. We are... together again here. And that is all that matters, correct?
action;
Even though that would eventually happen anyway later on.But before he can say anything, Crow startles slightly at the sudden voice. Now he's looking around the room a little to see where PF is...
(Did Seto ever properly introduce him to PF before now...)]
action;
I'm sorry, Crow. I don't think you two have met yet. [He turns and holds her out to him.] PF, this is Crow. Crow, PF.
Hello. [Her voice is robotic, but there's a happy emotion lingering in it]
action;
He gives PF a slight once-over before he speaks up.]
So what kinda name is "PF" supposed to be, anyway? [Crow...]
action;
But Seto just let's PF do the talking here, smiling down at her]
PF stands for Personal Frame. An interactive digital assistant equipped to respond to my user's emotional state, whatever it may be.
action;
Guess I can see why you go with "PF" rather than a weird or long name like "Personal Frame"...
[Crow don't say her name is weird, that's rude...]
action;
It is not weird! [She'll admit it's a long name (hence why she likes to go with PF) but IT'S NOT WEIRD IT'S WHAT SHE IS... ]
B-Be nice, Crow.
action;
Fine, fine...anyway, like he said, you can call me "Crow", C-R-O-W!
[Spelling it out was probably unnecessary, Crow...]
action;
[As she speaks, Seto scoots onto the bed and sits there with her on his lap] He found me, actually.
action;
Yeah, that's right. First time I've ever seen a human there before, so of course I had to check 'em out. [He teasingly pokes Seto's shouler.] Who'd have thought that he'd actually end up being my best friend, huh?
