Fourteenth Firefly - [voice/action]
[Seto knew something was wrong when he woke up. Baldr had even been acting weird. So he tried to contact Lightning over the journals. She should've come home from her mission by now. Baldr was no doubt just anxious to get back to her. But when he tried to set up a filter, it instantly broke.
He knows just as much as anyone what a broken filter means, and even when someone's on a mission, something like this doesn't happen. But despite knowing he went to her house with Baldr and found that all trace of her was gone. The dog had gone around the house and sniffed about for his owner but there was nothing. Not even the clothes in her closet were there.
It was just so bare. What he feared was true.
When he returned home, he took a minute to sit down with the dog and hug him, burying his face into his black fur as the tears threaten to ove. It hurt, knowing that yet another one of his friends was now gone. Nagisa, Terra, Kazuma and now her. Lightning being another one of those who was very important to him. Especially considering what had happened between them not too long ago. He wanted to fix them. To fix what he had broken.
It takes him a few minutes before he finally grabs his journal and opens it up to make the annoucement. It’s been a while since he’s done something like this so for a good few seconds, there’s nothing but silence as he tries to bring himself to say those words.]
…Lightning has been sent home. [Said gently and sadly. He pets Baldr's head as he lays down beside him.]
I… don’t know if she left anything behind for anyone. I went to her house but nothing’s there. [Granted he didn’t snoop around but he felt it was wrong to do so, even though she isn’t here anymore.
He still feels like he has to be careful where he steps when it comes to her. He wanted to gain her trust back, he was slowly getting there but now… no, come now Seto, maybe she’ll come back one day. And he can try again, even start from scratch if he has to.
“Friends always see each other again.”
Right…
He isn't sure what else to say so there's a long pause before he speaks up again.] Does anyone want to go on a walk with Baldr and I? I know it’s cold but I think he’s sad… [Seto’s no expert on dogs by any means, he’s more of a cat whisperer, but still. Maybe a walk will do him some kind of good. Seto too.
Whether anyone has decided to join him or not, a little bit after his entry goes up, Seto will be walking around the village bundled up with a big black dog at his side. He’ll be seen just about anywhere around the village so feel free to bug him!]

[He ruffles Seto's hair before rising to his feet. He looks over Seto's clothes and plucks at the cloth on his shoulder.]
Is that gonna be enough? Want me to get you somethin' else?
[Firo's not the best at dealing with the emotional problems, so he tries to compensate by doing what he can about the physical ones.]
[Action]
I'll go get my coat. Stay here with Baldr, please. [The dog needs company okay. And now he will walk off to his bedroom to go and fetch his coat]
[Action]
[He watches Seto walk away, feeling just as useless as he did when Ennis disappeared without a trace. He glances down at Baldr and pets his head as they wait for Seto.]
You better take good care a' him, pal.
[Action]
Seto comes back, coat on and now putting a scarf around his neck. He's not as bundled as Firo would probably make him be but he's got enough on to keep him warm] Do you need to get your coat too?
[Action]
He goes to the door and puts on his hat.]
Let's go. You two wanna lead?
[It doesn't mater where they go, so long as it gets Seto perked up.]
[Action]
Sure. [Be prepared to go no where specific. Seto really has no real idea of what direction he wants to go in so once they're out the door, he just turns towards the plaza]
[Action]
Did you, um... wanna talk about it? Or her, or anything..?
[Action]
Let's talk about something else for now. [And to be honest, Seto isn't sure what he'd say about Lightning. He's filled with regret of not being able to fix the trust between them in time]
[Action]
[Think, Firo, you can do this. He searches his brain for something completely unrelated to Seto's friend or even just friends in general. Or dogs, since the dog is hers. Or weather, since her name has to do with storms.]
...How's school?
[Action]
[Action]
Really? That sounds nice; you can make a lotta new friends.
[Oh geez, he's starting to sound like Grune...
He chuckles and pats Seto's shoulder.]
But you know, you don't have to go to school if you don't want to.
[Action]
Then a blink] But I like going to school.
[Action]
[He just stares at Seto. All the natural kindness and good cheer was weird enough, but this?]
[Action]
[Like science and math and things he never knew how to do back home!!]
[Action]
[Why not something useful? Like how to disarm someone with a knife or knock them out so they can't get back up? He wants to ask Seto all that, but bites his lip.]
Well, if it makes you happy. What subject's your favorite?
[On the very slim chance Firo knows anything about it. Szilard's memories might actually come in handy this time.]

I like writing and world sharing class. It's really fun to hear about other people's worlds!

[Again, he wonders if it's really necessary, despite his deep curiosity about others' worlds. But he wants to be nice to Seto, so he tacks on:]
