Fifteenth Firefly - [voice]
[ It’s been over two weeks since the New Year started, since Seto has considered himself yet another year older. That makes him seventeen this year, two years older than what he arrived here as.
Seto has never celebrated his birthday in his whole life. He’s celebrated his friend’s birthdays here, but not his nor even the old man’s back home. For as long as he can remember, his grandfather would just mark him a year older every year at some point. It isn’t likely that the old man actually knew when his real birthday was since he had only been with him since he was five. He was just an old man he lived with, an old man he rarely spoke to even until the very end.
But in his world, there had never been a point to celebrate a birthday or a way to, because they have nothing, not like they do here in Luceti. Not to mention, whoever is born into his world would have nothing to know of the date they were born. Survivors too because even if they remembered their birthdays, they would've no doubt lost track of time and dates.
There was never any to tell what month is coming up or which is ending. The only way to tell what time of the year it must be was when seasons would begin to change, watching the leaves, grass and temperature all change. It's how things were for him and his grandfather at least. He can't speak for the survivors whom he doesn't even know are alive, only assume if there are even any.
...It makes him wonder briefly to himself if the silver haired girl and Crow know theirs at all.
He's not one to complain, and really he won't, not about this. But... it would still be nice to have just one day that he can celebrate his birth, to be grateful for still being alive for another year when all others have died and to be grateful to his parents for giving birth to him. ]
What do you do when you don’t have a birthday? Like you can’t remember when it is. [The question comes after a moment after he opens up his journal.] Is there any way to just... make up a birthday?

[Voice] I'm not Danica I'm Flynn TAKE THAT or Furen in your case
The cushion starfish; a starfish named after it's round, plump body. It possesses short arms which merge with the body so only the tips are able to be seen. Juvenile cushion starfish are much flatter than adults and have a clear pentagonal star shape, with more visible arms. The juvenile starfish hide under rocks to escape predators as well, whereas the tougher adults are relatively safe in the open. [PF givin the knowledge]
[Voice] You're all of those things, now accept your awful cookies
That sounds exactly like Manami-san! He's very plump, and Fuuko can still see all five of his points. That must mean that Manami-san is a juvenile cushion starfish.
[Just as well there are no predators in the tank she keeps him in.]
[Voice] What if I don't want to????
That's really cool! [He doesn't know what juvenile means but he doesn't bother to question it for now] Hey, Fuuko? Do you think PF and I can come over to visit you and Manami-san? I don't think PF has ever seen him before.
I have yet to see any species of starfish.
[Voice] Are you seriously going to reject them
[It's like some sort of crime against starfish to know so much about them without ever seeing one.]
[Voice] what if i did
I-It is only that I possess the correct data... [She's flustering. Seto chuckles]
If it's okay, can we come over now, Fuuko? If you're home, that is.
[Voice] They might cry cookie tears
[She'll be expecting you!]
[Voice -> Action] how do cookies even cry...
[And if she doesn't respond, Seto closes the journal to put on his shoes, coat and a scarf before heading out. Of course he doesn't take the time to walk there and instead runs, as not to keep his friend waiting like he promised and excited to see PF's reaction to seeing a starfish for the first time.
It doesn't take him but 15 minutes to finally reach her house and he walks up to the front door.
Knock knock Fuuko]
[Action] You'll find out when you upset them
You really didn't keep Fuuko waiting for long at all, thank you for listening to what Fuuko said!
[Action] then I seriously reject them
You don't have to thank me for that. I couldn't keep you waiting for long no matter what.
Hello, Fuuko. [Said with a cheery tone]
