--at the right button...? Ah... I really hope it was. [Being blind definitely has it's disadvantages. It was only by luck that he managed to feel around and find a journal just laying in the wet grass beside him. No doubt his, but he's still kinda wary about using it since he can't confirm that.

He'll have to apologize if it isn't his.

Seto clears his throat and wipes the water off his face]

U-Um, can anyone hear me? I could really use some help I don't... know where I am. I still can't see anything.

[The least the Malnosso could do was give him back more of his sight jeez... ] B-But I do know I'm beside a river! [Not. That that will help too much but he's trying. He can only do so much] I'm sorry...

[If you happen to be out and about near building 6, you might spot Seto wandering along the river, wondering which way to go. He's at a bit of a loss]

A river? Hold on, I'll come find you!

O-Okay! [He'll just be sitting here. Ringing out his ~~dress~~ coat, even if it won't do him much good]

[... and then Emil realizes that there's a lot of river in Luceti.]

Could you use your journal to show me where you are so I know where to start looking?

O-Oh, yes of course! I'm sorry...

[He turns the journal around (in which he hopes is the right way) and slowly moves it around to show him the layout. Across the river, there are a few houses but they're pretty far away and on the other side, waaaay off in the distance is a building. It's hard to tell what exactly which building it is since it can only be seen above the trees.]

[Well, at least he knows now that Seto is somewhere close to the village, which narrows it down a lot. This is good! It also means that it won't take him long to get there, either.]

Okay, I think I can figure it out from there. I'll be there in a few minutes, so don't go try to go anywhere.

[And off he goes, keeping his journal open just in case!]

O-Okay! I'll stay here...

[He scoots next to a tree and just waits. Sai would be surprised he didn't take off to try and meet Emil half way]

[Fortunately it won't take Emil long at all to arrive, skidding to a stop and glancing around in search of his friend. It takes a moment before he spots the other boy beneath that tree, but once he does, he races over.]

Seto! Are you all right?

Emil? [He takes a glance around the tree trunk even though it's pointless since he can't see... ] Y-Yes, I'm okay!

[Aside from being soaking wet and cold, but really, he's been through worse things. Like going through sewers!! Fun.

Making an attempt to stand, he grabs the trunk of the tree and uses it as a kind of leverage, slowly making it up to his feet]

Here, be careful...

[He's quick to move to Seto's side to offer support if the other boy needs it, though he won't touch him without permission, because... well, Seto's blind, so he doesn't want to startle him.]

What happened? Did you just get back from a kidnapping?

[He wobbles a bit when he stands up straight but manages to stay standing and not slip and fall like he did when he woke up.

Nodding, he frowns] Y-Yeah, I did. It was really scary...

[Emil stays with his hand out, ready to catch Seto in case he should stumble, but so far Seto seems to be doing all right for himself.]

I'm sorry. It never really gets any less scary, even if you've been kidnapped before.

[ ...Well that certainly doesn't make him feel that much better. And that was just his first kidnapping]

R-Really? Why... [He looks down, holding his dress/coat]

[... whoops, NOT AS PLANNED. That was not the reaction he'd been intending, and suddenly he feels guilty.]

Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. You shouldn't worry about things like that right now... let's just get you home, okay?

I-It's okay. [He lets go of his coat and looks up to give him a faint smile. The thought was more unnerving than anything but... he'll just have to get used to it, right?]

Alright. How far away from the village are we?

[At that, Emil perks up and smiles a little-- not that Seto can see it, but still.]

We're not that far away at all. Here, you can take my hand if you want; I don't mind.

[Oh well that's a good thing to hear! He's glad he didn't attempt to try and find his way back now since he just would've made it worse.]

Can I really?? Thank you, Emil. [He holds his hand out towards the other since he would look silly trying to find it on his own, flailing around and all.]

Of course you can. We're friends, right?

[And to prove it, he'll just take that hand and give it a slight squeeze.]

[Seto starts to respond, opening his mouth a little to say something but when Emil grabs his hand, he closes it.

His vision goes from horrid to crystal clear but... he isn't looking at Emil. He's looking at a guy with red hair and last he could remember Emil's hair wasn't like that. When he starts talking to him, that definitely confirms it's not Emil. He swallows almost nervously.

"-girl with a jewel in her forehead" Who could that be?

So when he returns the light squeeze, it's not because he's happy but because he's feeling nervous.]

[It's probably a good thing that Emil has no idea of what Seto is seeing, or else he'd be frantically trying to explain. As far as he can tell, that squeeze in return is one of happiness, so he's just going to smile-- not that Seto can see it, but still. He's trying to be reassuring.]

Come on, let's get you back home.

[When he starts walking, it's slowly at first so that he doesn't end up disorienting Seto in the process or making him trip.]

Doesn't move.

He stays perfectly still, arm outstretched since he's still holding Emil's hand with a more, well, blank look on his face. He's too out of it to realize what's actually going on in reality, he can't even hear Emil. Instead, he's focused on listening to this guy.

"Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality." He's... kinda cool. A little intimidating it seems but cool nonetheless. The man goes on, apparently he quoted someone... this statue? Wait--Is that one of his teachers??]

[Now Emil notices that something is wrong when Seto doesn't move at all; his first thought is that he's distracted by something, which that distant look on his face seems to support. Does he hear something that Emil doesn't? SUDDENLY UNSURE.]

... Seto? Is something wrong?

[Still no response. Not even a look or gesture of acknowledgement. He just... keeps staring straight ahead.

Taking his eyes off the statue now, he looks back at the redhead, going back to being confused and not knowing what he's talking about. "Alligance to Lloyd". What does that even mean? Apparently it's a bad thing if it's good Emil refused it... right? By the way he's talking about it seems like it.

'Are you a dog? Or are you really a man?'

He feels nervous again. The man is asking him a question and he has no idea how to respond. It takes him a minute before he opens his mouth]

I'm... [The word slips out of his mouth in time with Emil in his head, almost like he's trying to find an answer himself.]

Maybe we should sit back down for a little while...

[He's trying to read Seto's face to no avail. Is he sick? Maybe he's lightheaded or something... he certainly doesn't seem to be fully aware of what's going on. Heatstroke? No, it isn't hot enough for that, he doesn't think. It must have something to do with the kidnapping, then. But what?]

[Sitting down would probably be best, but you may want to help him. Otherwise he may end up falling if you try and pull him down.

There's a long pause now, Seto gripping Emil's hand a little tighter as the question runs through his mind.

Man or dog? The answer should be obvious... right? Dogs aren't that friendly--at least not the one's from his world. Who would want to be one of those dogs?!

NOT SETO. And besides, Emil is a guy so the answer is even more obvious.

But he finds himself as stuck as Emil, unable to come up with an answer, unable to utter another word to the red haired man. The man speaks up again, distracting him from his thoughts and watches him walk away. Why won't he go after him? Why didn't he answer his question?

Hm... ]

[Fortunately Emil will be doing just that, carefully taking Seto by the shoulders and helping him down to a sitting position, then just hovering over him, worried. Should he go get some water or something?]

Are you sure you're all right? Should I call for Raine or someone to come take a look at you? If you really aren't feeling well, maybe we should have someone carry you straight to the clinic.
