Eighth firefly - [accidental video]/[action] - Early afternoon on the 18th

[Accidental Video]

[The first thing to be recorded is Seto falling down on his butt in the snow.  His face and hair now covered in snow, as if snowball at hit him square in the face.  Which... one did actually.  He hadn't seen it coming.   He blinks once, then twice, then brushes the cold snow off his already pink cheeks, giving someone that can't be seen, a pout.]

What was that for??

[And then another voice in the background replies] Ah... That's just how ya play the game. Sorry, Seto!

...Oh... [Totally unsure of what game this is, Seto decides to go ahead and give it a try himself.  Mimicking what he saw Firo do, he  gathers up some of the snow into a ball then hurls it at his target.  Luckily it hits right on]

H--Hey! [Firo pauses for a moment, then laughs] ...Good job.

[Seto just grins then stands up, reaching down to pick up the journal]  What's that game call-- [The feed cuts off as he shuts it]

[Action]

[ Anyone about town may spot two Luceti residents taking full advantage of the winter wonderland. Seto and Firo can be found racing through the snow and happily pelting each other with snowballs or pooling their efforts to make a snowman that's only slightly lopsided.
    
It's such fun that Firo's too distracted to try for a pretense of maturity and Seto has overcome his worry about the snow. Though perhaps the loss of fear due to the many layers of winter clothes he's swaddled in, which make Seto bear some resemblance to a marchmallow. The snow splatters on their clothes show that they've been at this for a while.

(ooc: Blue is Seto, green is Firo.  Action threads will be 3-person threads, the order will be You -> Seto -> Firo!  If you decide to reply by video/voice/written, those replies will come only from Seto. )

[ Firo nods along with what Seto says. He'll be really surprised if Kazuma manages to say no to Seto; just look at that little face. ]

More people means more competition and that just makes it funner.

How is it...I don't know how much more fun I'd really make it. I'm not really good at this sort of thing...

That's okay! Neither am I! I just started playing today but it's still really fun, even though I'm not that good at it. So please??

[He leans down to make another snowball and hold it out to Kazuma]

You can learn as you go, that's the best way to do it.

[ Firo makes another snowball and pitches it lightly in Kazuma's general direction. ]

That's not really what I meant- [Reflexively he moves out of the way of the snowball Firo threw. He didn't want to get hit again ;-;. It really doesn't look like they were going take no for answer were they?

S-Sigh]

You said you had gloves...?

[With a big grin, Seto reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out an extra pair of gloves. He wasn't sure if he'd need them but it doesn't look like he does so they're all yours Kazuma! He hands them to him]

We'll go easy on you. [Not that Seto's much of a challenge, it's more Firo he's worried about]

[Action]

[ Smiling, Firo nods. ]

For the beginnin', at least.

[ He takes a step back and starts readying another snowball. ]

[Action]

[He swallows. He suddenly wants to reconsider this as he puts the gloves on. He's going to get hurt, and going to get sick-why did he agree to this!?]

Right...[he collects a bit of snow and starts getting a snowball ready too.]

[Action]

[Without warning he throws a snowball in Firo's direction and makes a run for it behind a tree, laughing. RUN KAZUMA RUN. IT'S STARTED.]

H-hey!

[ Laughing, Firo lobs his own snowball after Seto. As soon as it's out of his hand he leans down to make another and throws that one at Kazuma. ]

[Action]

[Running? Why are we-OH RIGHT! aksjhga He moves from getting hit by the snowball being tossed at him and then throws his own.

...

At absolutely nothing. Not even close to what he was aiming for, which was Firo. Was he even looking where he was throwing...?]

[The snowball smacks his back before he can get behind the tree, but he laughs anyways and peeks out to look at Kazuma] You have to hide before he can get you!

[Action]

[ Firo watches the snowball whiz by and chuckles. ]

Who're you tryin' to hit?

[ He races towards a tree to hide behind while he makes more snowballs. Quickly! Get pay back while his back is turned! ]

[Action]

[moezama]

[Hiding sounds like a really good idea right now, so he'll go and do that, okok. There's a tree not too far off from him, so he'll quickly move over there and get a snowball or two setup once he's safely behind that tree....and hope no one will hit him while he's running to that tree.]

[Action]

[Well since both of them have their back turned, Seto steps out from behind his own tree and throws one snowball at each of them with as much force as he can. Which isn't a lot but it'll hopefully hit someone somewhere]

[ Seto's hits Firo right in the back, and he abandons any plans of hiding. Getting the little sneak back is much more important. He makes another snowball and spins around to toss that at Seto. While he's at it, he decides he might as well throw another by Kazuma's tree. ]

[Action]

[Seto's snowball catches Kazuma off-guard while he was trying to get another snowball together and Firo's he manage to avoid, sort of. It just scraps him. Does he throw? Nope, Kazuma is just going to stay behind this tree for this turn. ;-;]

[Action]

[Seto jumps and ducks down, his hands on the top of his head and he does. It hits the very top of his hands and right after he scoops up some more snow to throw at Firo.

This is war! C'mon Kazuma, who's side are you on?]

[Action]

[ Firo decides to give Kazuma a break for the moment and this time he throws a snowball only at Seto. He still hasn't gone to hide behind the tree yet, so he's wide open for attack from either of them. ]

[Action]

[moezama]

[The side that will get him the least amount of snowballs hitting him! He's watching from behind the tree, a snowball or two in hand. Seto was still near the tree, but Firo wasn't so...so he should go for Firo, right?

So let's try and aim for Firo again. Slightly better aim this time, if not just a bit on the weak side in strength behind it.]

[This time when Firo throws the snowball at Seto, it hits him in the chest, but he laughs and runs back behind the safety of his tree to make more ammo]

[ Firo has no time to enjoy his triumph of hitting Seto before Kazuma's snowball hits him on the shoulder. ]

Hey, nice job.

[ In response he tosses another one Kazuma's way. ]

[He did it? Oh, he did it--ah! Firo's snowball scrapes the tree and brings Kazuma back to earth and back into hiding. Ok, this isn't so bad, he thinks. He'll be aiming his next snowball to whomever comes out into the open next, but for now he'll be getting more snowballs ready.]

[Seto doesn't come out of hiding for another minute or so as he continues to make the little pile of snowballs bigger. When he deems it ready, he grabs two snowballs and steps out from behind the tree to throw them at Firo. Why haven't you gone to hide behind a tree yet big bro! You're out in the open!]

[Action]

[ Firo wonders that himself as the two snowballs come at him. He manages to dodge one, but not the other. Laughing a little, he ducks behind a tree as he prepares more snowballs. It seems Kazuma and Seto really did have the right idea about how to play the game. ]
