[Lately all Seto can think about is home, probably because he has nothing better to do when laying in his bed. Images of what's left of the cities and small villages flash through his mind. Everything is so dominated by the wildlife he has no idea what it could have been like for those who lived there before...whatever happened to his world.

But it dawns on him, other people must've lived in an alternate Japan right? So why not ask them? It'll give him something to do too so might as well.]

I've heard that some people here are from Japan. A different Japan than other's but they're all similar in some way and I was wondering...what's it like there? Are there a lot of people? Is the red tower special?

[He goes quiet for a moment then lets out a soft, almost sad sounding chuckle] I'm sorry, I'm just a little curious... [A pause] O-Of course I wouldn't mind hearing about other worlds too. Anything is fine..

[Action]

[Once the sun goes down, Seto will be out on the roof of community building three, just laying there to stare up at the stars. To be honest it brings him comfort when he stares at shining lights in the sky. For the past ten years at home, they have been his only company since his grandpa and him never really talked all too much, especially near the end of his life.

In any case, he'll be up there for a good majority of the night, he may even fall asleep]

Yes, we could bring a bucket! As long as we return the starfish to their natural habitats when we're done. [Unless...] Can we keep a real starfish as a pet?!

Right! [That is a good question] W-Well I'm not sure how to take care of a real starfish..but I'm sure if we went to the library we could find out! So maybe we can!!

Fuuko knows that the starfish need lots of salt water to survive, and that you can't use a normal tank for sea creatures. You need a big tank! And then the bigger the tank, the most starfish you could keep.

[He chuckles] Then let's make sure to bring an extra big bucket for the water! And we can go look at the stores for a tank.

We should collect lots of oysters and mussels too, so the starfish have plenty to eat. Fuuko thinks that's what starfish eat! [...] If Fuuko is to go to the beach with you, Fuuko should know your name!

Is that really what starfish eat?? [He's never heard of a starfish eating something like that...but then again, he's never really studied marine animals] Oh right! My name is Seto.

Starfish can eat lots of different things, but Fuuko thinks the starfish would prefer those the most! [Because they're so slow they pretty much eat whatever they find...] Seto-san it is then!

You sure do know a lot about starfish. Do you study them or something? [Beaming]

Fuuko can only wish to study the starfish someday! [She would be a great marine biologist :|a Though she'd only focus on starfish.] But to be honest with you... [Whispering into the journal now.] There are some people who know even more about starfish than Fuuko!

Wow really?? [He can't imagine who would take the time to study starfish...even he didn't read to much about them other than that they lay on rocks and stick to you sometimes.]

Yes, really! One of Fuuko's friends once called the starfish, or sea star, an... [Give her a minute, it's on the tip of her tongue.] Eck-eeno-derm! Or something like that anyway.

Eck--what? [WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN] Why did they call it that?

Eckeenoderm is apparently the scientific name for starfish, or something! Fuuko wasn't aware of it until the smart person brought it up. [It is a scary word. ECKEENODERMFJGLASJ!!] Fuuko is still in disbelief that someone else would know so much about starfish.

Wow...I had no idea that was their scientific name. [Let's just stick with starfish, much easier to pronounce |B] Well I'm sure there are a lot of people in your world who study them!

[Fuuko nods, she hadn't the slightest clue that was their scientific name. Of course the nodding can't be seen--]

Do you think so?! There are probably starfish specialists out there, somewhere...

Uh huh! I'm sure there are. [ ... ] Can I ask you something? Why do you like starfish so much?

[No, Seto, don't--!!]

The starfish are just so cute, what's not to like about the starfish?! They have five points which make up the true appeal of the starfish, and they can come in many different colours and shapes, so each and every one of them is unique!

[After a little more starfish rambling, Fuuko's normal voice is replaced by a more airy manner of speech.]

Haaaaaahaaaaa~ Heeeeeeeh~ Wooooow~

[Oh god what has he done. He just listens to her ramble on then blinks when she just starts making weird sounds. W-What's wrong with her?? Is she okay??

He taps the microphone and in a worried voice] F-Fuuko?

Hwaaaaaah~ [There's a few more odd noises before she takes account of the tapping and comes back to reality.]

Fuuko suddenly feels very refreshed!

[Confused Seto is confused]

W-What happened? Are you all right?

Fuuko is fine, why do you ask? Is there something wrong?

[Starfish trances are totally a daily thing for her, is there a problem she isn't seeing to this?]

Y-You were making all those weird noises after talking about starfish...

[He has yet to get used to these episodes of hers]

Fuuko was just happy to be reminded of how wonderful the starfish really are.

[Said tentatively. No one has really picked up on her trances being a thing before now.]

Oh! Haha, you're cute Fuuko.

[He chuckles a little]

That might be so, but not as cute as the starfish!

[Because starfish are just amazingly cute and cuter than anything else!]
