Second Firefly - [Action/Voice]

[Even though it's late at night, Seto is on top of the third community building roof top, staring at the bright white moon that's high up in the dark sky. It looks as if he's almost in a trance. He's sitting on the edge of the wall, his legs dangling down though he shows no sign that he's afraid of falling at this height.

He reaches over to grab his journal and opens it, taking a moment to glance at the moon one more time before speaking into it]

Isn't the moon beautiful? Even in a different world...it's so big and bright. At home, I would always be alone when I looked at the moon. I-I mean I did have Sai but...it isn't the same with a ghost. I've always wanted to talk about it with someone...

Oh! I hope I didn't wake anyone up... I better close this [And with that, he shuts his journal.

It's not exactly midnight yet, but if you're still walking around this late, you can look up to see Seto looking up at the night sky but feel free to go onto the roof of that building to pay him a visit. He'd love the company]

It is! It's nice to see that some things don't change no matter where you go, isn't it?

[The voice and laughter startles him since he wasn't really expecting anyone to answer but it makes him happy that someone was listening. She doesn't sound like Ange or Rydia so it must be someone new!]

Y-Yeah it is nice! I would be kinda sad if there was no moon, I'm so used to seeing it there to light up the night for me...

Mmm! A lot of people often compare the moon to the sun -- saying the latter is more beautiful. But... I think they're equally as pretty!

You can also look up at the moon too, and it won't blind you.

Mhm! I can see why people compare them so often, the moon can be seen as like the sun at night when it's full! But I do think that they're both pretty too.

If it could I think I would be blind by now. [He chuckles, don't worry, he's always wanted to talk to someone like this so he's enjoying it!]

Definitely! I probably would be as well. Not only is there the moon, but there's so much out there in the night sky too! Especially if you look through a telescope.

By the way, would you mind if I joined you? If it isn't too late!

Uh huh! My grandfather had this big telescope where I used to live and he would always let me look through it. It was so amazing!

[He perks up and quickly responds to her question] I-I wouldn't mind at all! I would love to have some company up here.

We should do that one day! Look into Luceti's skies, that is!

So where are you at?

We should! I wonder if they have telescopes here...do you think they do?

[He can defiantly hear the excitement in her voice and is probably just as excited as she is.] I'm on the roof of the third community housing building.

They seem to have everything else -- why not? Sorry if I took long! We could pop by the item shop tomorrow to check, if you'd like.

[Once her feed cuts off, he looks back up at the moon, patiently waiting for the girl to arrive. Once she does though, it startles him and he jumps a little but smiles when he relaxes.

He chuckles a little] It's all right! You didn't take very long at all. But I'd love to go with you to the item shop! It'll be fun.

All right then! Then it's a promise!

[His smile brightens when she sits down next to him but blinks when she sticks out her pinky. What's he supposed to do...? He wings it and hesitantly wraps his pinky around hers, shaking it] I-It's a promise!

[He turns his attention back towards the sky as well, kicking his legs a little] My name is Seto by the way.

Ah, then it's Seto-san? I'm Minako Arisato, it's nice to meet you! Thanks for allowing me to come by the way, it's... the scene here, it's pretty mesmerizing!

It's nice to meet you too, Minako- [He bites his lip for a moment before adding] -san! It's no problem, I'm really glad that you did come up here...I was getting a little lonely. But the view is pretty amazing here isn't it?

If you want to drop formalities, I don't mind doing so! We're friends now, aren't we? Mmm! It makes this place seem not so bad, especially if there are things like these still around. ... But it makes me wonder if this is the same sky I see back home.

[He stares at her when she says 'friends'. He tries to stop the tears that slowly for in his eyes and manages to take a deep breath to keep them from spilling over] F-Friends...yeah, we're friends now...

Maybe we all do look at the same sky. We all do see the sun and the stars... [He tilts his head, thinking about this for a moment]

A-ah! I didn't say anything wrong, did I?

It would be nice! To know that you'll always be connected to all your friends back home by the sky. It kind of washes away the lonely feelings for me, thinking of it that way.

[Seto rubs his eyes with his sleeves, sniffling just a little. He isn't going to cry, he's okay now] N-No, you didn't say anything wrong. I'm just happy to have a friend...

It does make you feel less lonely...I never really thought about it that way before. [And just thinking about that now makes him smile brightly]

You're so silly, Seto! I'm glad to have you as a friend as well. It's so awesome to have someone to share and talk about this with!

Do you have friends back at home that you miss too? It'd be nice if you could send messages through it...

[He nods and smiles] U-Uh huh! It's really nice to have someone around to talk with...I've always wanted that.

I have a few friends back home that I miss...And one ended up coming here, just like me! [He looks back up to the sky] Mhmm...

People here have been nothing but nice; I'm sure you won't have any troubles with that. You seem like such a sweet person!

Sai, right? Ehe! You're the same as me then! I have a few friends here, but... Let's make the most of this since we're already here!

People are really nice here! [His smile brightens but he blushes a little from the compliment] Y-You think so?

Uh huh! [He chuckles a little] Oh you do?? Who are your friends that are here? [He glances at her too] Yeah!

Why not? Talking to you gives me that impression!

This guy named Junpei for one, he's a real clown! I also... I also got to meet my brother here, if he counts as one! What about your friend? I hope I get to meet them one day.

[He rubs the back of his head, a bit embarrassed] T-Thanks, I guess.

Junpei...I don't think I've met him before. [He blinks] You have a brother, Minako?? Oh! My friend's name is Crow. If you do meet him, be sure not to carry anything shiny, he'll take it. [Another chuckle]
